We want your application experience to be as easy as possible and while most of your questions will be answered on this page or by following the prompts in the application forms, you are always welcome to call or email the Lake Region Arts Council at 218-739-5780 or lrac4@lracgrants.org

Some suggestions that will simplify the application process:
|

- Attend one of our grant workshops. Call the LRAC office for workshop dates.
- Start your application early and submit it before the deadline. 50% of grants submitted at the last minute are disqualified for being incomplete or inaccurate! We can help you correct errors if the application comes in before the deadline. Grants received on the deadline or after have to be reviewed "as is".
- If you aren’t sure about something in the application, contact our office. We will be happy to help you.
- Read the grant guidelines before you start the application. The guidelines are the "rules" for the grant application. It will answer most of your questions.

How to begin the grant application process:
|

- Read the grant guidelines
- Logon and create a logon profile. Logon button can be found at the top of this page.
- Once you log on you will be taken through the application steps in the following order;
- Complete Basic Profile information
- Select the grant you wish to apply for
- Complete each page of the grant application
- Proof read the application
- Mark each grant page completed
- Submit application
- Receive email confirmation from LRAC
- Your grant may be changed anytime prior to grant deadline by logging in and editing your application.

Some great features of our online applications:

- No need to save your work. You may log in and out as often as you want while you are working your application. Your work is automatically saved.
- You only have to enter your basic information and budget information for your organization once. They will be saved and ready for use in all project, organizational and small grants applications you do in the future.
- The project budgets will automatically do the adding and subtracting for you.
- You will be able to track all your grant applications and see their status, just by logging on and viewing your individual grant control page.
